Lincoln’s Lebanon Civil War Re-enactment & Military Encampment
is a week-end long annual event that is proudly offered by Boone County Historical Society (BCHS).

Union and Confederate re-enactment soldiers from Indiana, Ohio,
and Illinois, together with their families, are encamped in
Lebanon’s Memorial Park portraying life in the 1800’s.
Battles with real cannons and muskets take place both days along with demonstrations of weaving, pottery making, and blacksmithing.
A medical doctor and a mortician also portray their practices of the times.
President Lincoln, General Robert E. Lee,
and Jefferson Davis are there!

Traditionally this event takes place the last weekend in September.

Because this is an admission free event,
it would not be possible without the support of our sponsors.
BCHS is asking for your help in offering
a bit of living history to the citizens of Boone County and others.
